“What’s the best part of my job?” asks Warren Cooper as he repeats my question.
“It’s when a customer beams with pride after their vehicle comes back looking brand new.”
He continues, “But also, it’s getting to know people and doing quality work for the community”.
Cooper and his wife Melissa are the proud operators of Cooper’s Paint, Body & Glass Repair located on Stock Island.
Established by Warren’s father, Bobby Cooper, CEO, the family business has been a fixture of the Key West since 1952 and are still keeping the family tradition strong with both their sons Joey and Gino Perez involved in the business.
Specializing in the “invisible repair”, Cooper and his team are the premier source in the Lower Keys for professional auto body repair and superior customer service.
Working as a team for over four years, Warren manages the shop, conducts estimates, provides customer relations support and also oversees product management, respectively.
In turn, Melissa is a customer service extraordinaire and handles the dozens of claims that come through the office on a weekly basis.
Together they have created a direct repair facility right here in Key West that works with all the major insurance companies.
Furthermore, since Warren is a direct representative for these insurance companies, customers don’t have to wait for a representative to come down from the mainland and instead can have all their needs serviced in one location.
“A car wreck can be traumatizing,” as Melissa explains. “You have injuries, loss of vehicle, mental damage. We try to reduce the stress of the whole process by handling the claim, arranging the rental car and making sure that everything is professionally done from start to finish.”
“We’ll go through your vehicle from A-Z and you won’t be able to the find the repair,” Warren says confidently.
Cooper’s welcomes all makes and models of cars and are certain they can beautify your vehicle.
