Key West Urgent Care has been serving the lower keys community for over 10 years. Teresa Hehe, a local and her family, recently purchased the business in March. She is doing everything possible to keep and even improve their high level of patient care. “For the most part our staff hasn’t changed; we have the same great desk staff, medical director and Dr. Langley is still here,” says Teresa. “Our biggest change and best news is that we now have a wonderful full-time physician, Brian Wagstaff, MD.” Dr. Wagstaff and his husband, a classical musician, have been visiting Key West for 19 years and never wanted to leave. Now they have made it their home. Brian received his medical degree at Colombia University, New York in 1994 and is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. Brian is an avid boater, kayaker, choral singer and loves the theatre.
Dr. Wagstaff has an impressive resume, giving him expertise in everything from delivering babies to senior care. Although they do not deliver babies at Key West Urgent Care, they specialize in handling the medical needs of your loved ones from 4 months old and up. “We specialize in friendly, convenient and comfortable care,” says Dr. Wagstaff with a smile. Key West Urgent Care is centrally located in the middle of Flagler Avenue with plenty of free parking. Key West Urgent Care accepts all major insurances and bills your visit as primary care, not urgent care, to save you money. Dr. Wagstaff would love to be your general physician, he welcomes appointments. “We handle physicals, drug screens and now have $30 back-to-school sports physicals,” states Dr. Wagstaff, “I look forward to meeting you all and embracing this lovely community.”
